About SONIDO BRIO

SONIDO BRIO began as a music project dedicated to developing style and performance. In 2022, the leader and founder, Luis Espada, collaborated with percussionist Tino Serrano, co-leader, to explore experimental music genres, including Salsa (in both Spanish and English) and Latin Jazz, performed in a quintet format. After successfully producing cover songs for various artists, including El Gran Combo, La Sonora Ponceña, Willie Rosario, Ismael Rivera, Celia Cruz, Tito Puente, Cheo Feliciano, and Oscar D’Leon, Luis decided to form his own band.

SONIDO BRIO (BRIO SOUND) was created to embody spirit, energy, enthusiasm, and style in performance. Before establishing the band, Luis composed and arranged nine original songs, which are now available on all digital platforms.

“My dream for SONIDO BRIO is to share danceable music and Latin culture with the world,” said the group’s leader, who is also a producer, arranger, singer-songwriter, pianist, and percussionist. SONIDO BRIO is currently creating catchy original songs to expand their repertoire, aiming to share their love for Latin music with people who enjoy dancing to it.

SONIDO BRIO is a versatile band offering various formats for any occasion, ranging from a Latin Jazz quintet to a full Salsa band.
